I hired Oak Electric Service of Waterford MI to repair a lamp post that never worked right. I told them that it was repaired twice before, and each time, it worked for 2 days and then stopped working. I paid $261 for the repair. 2 days later, it stopped working. I called to report this and asked if this would be a no-additional charge repair. I was told "of course". Then they called me and asked me to wait for warmer weather before they came out. I agreed. Now that we have warmer weather, I called them to come out to repair the lamp post at no charge as promised. They refused. They said it would cost me time and materials. They said their warranty does not apply. I am angry. Their website says their work is warrantied but it is not. I will never hire them again and will tell everyone I know not to use them.

See, electric contractors don't go quoting rules and regs if they want to keep the job. For better service next time, consult to an Expert and not newbie.
