OHIO LICENSE
No state license required.
Ohio Construction Industry Examining Board - has legislative authorization to
conduct testing and grant licenses for specialty contractors in Ohio.
Specialties are HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Refrigeration and Hydronics.
Each license holder must renew annually with required amount of continuing education units.
The current legislation requires licensing to perform work in Ohio that is
regulated by the state (All commercial work and residential work only of 4 units or greater per building).
